What will it cost?

I charge a competitive day rate, though I am happy to negotiate reduced rates for long contracts or for special circumstances. I work fast and can handle a steep learning curve. I also recognise that there is a need to define limits, and to agree what can realistically be achieved within a given time or budget.

Estimate or Quote?

I will certainly provide an estimate of the time a job is likely to take. But the nature of this work is so fluid that it often makes sense to agree a day rate and a level of commitment, and then monitor the job as it progresses. Imposing the discipline of an upper limit is a useful balance to this flexibility. However, if you prefer, we can agree a fixed price for a set commitment of time - or for agreed results .

Changes:

If your brief changes during the course of the job, so affecting my commitment, that would normally involve an extra cost.

Termination:

Naturally, you can terminate the contract at any time, and would only be liable for the cost of time already spent on your behalf.
